The Grand Hotel Plaza, Locanda Maggiore, which is located right in the city center, is the oldest and historically important hotel in Montecatini. In fact Giuseppe Verdi was their guest. It has 100 rooms, 3 restaurants, winery for wine tasting, American bar and small space for conferences and swimming pool. It hosts a clientele both in groups and individually. Catering is open to outsiders, to the same hotel guests as well as to the standard menu other quality solutions are proposed, for example there is a grill. There are proposals for all occasions. The quality of the hotel as well as in catering is offered in all the service, the policy is to make the customer feel at home and that everyone is at his service. Staff are trained in this in another structure. Marketing is dealt with through participation in the most important fairs and exhibitions and through the presence on the Internet and contracts with Tour Operators for a highly sought after national and international clientele. Off-season promotions are made. Mr. Rodolfo Albetti who gave us the interview is director of the marketing / restaurant sector.
