Main Contents of the Interview
Professor Edoardo Govi is a teacher of the State Professional Institute "F.Martini" for the Food and Wine and is Coordinator of the School-Work Alternation Team of the Institute. The students who attend school are about 1500 of these every year 750 are busy doing the stage for school-work. They are selected first with a motivational interview and according to their abilities and inserted in a data-base. The same applies to companies, hotels and restaurants. Most are from the territory close to the Institute, then regional and national and therefore European. Non-Italian companies are sent the most deserving and motivated children, about thirty a year. The matching student / receptive structure is made according to the capacity of the boy and the level of the company in a proportional way, the best in companies of the highest level and the least good in the mid-level ones. The boys learn a lot from this experience that sees them in close contact with the customers and other staff who work. Many of them are hired by the same company in which they do the internship, the past years have also achieved success rates of 90-99%: at the moment the students have grown in number and the companies decreased for which it is no longer possible to have these results . A team professor for school-work alternation specifically follows students who go abroad.
