Main Contents of the Interview
The Grand Hotel Plaza welcomes about 10 interns a year coming not only from Montecatini but from all over Italy according to the opportunities offered by the hotel organization. Only one or two are hired. Many of these have made a career and went to work in different parts of the way even by setting up a restaurant on their own. The deserving ones recommend them to Hotel / Restaurants in the world many of them work there. What they require is a certain discipline and willingness to cover other tasks if necessary. If the trainees have problems, they must communicate this before the hotel can organize itself for the sudden absence of one of them. A point of weakness is the question of working hours, too tied to school hours but absolutely incompatible with the activity of a hotel or restaurant. Working day and night.
