2.2.2 Selection of trainees

Selection of trainees participating in mobility in projects may be done on the basis of a selection methodology or a selection procedure. In both cases it is necessary to use the methodology or procedure on the project typology and the target group.

In the syllabus procedure / methodology, an application form containing general project data, general information about the student and legal guardians if the student is minor, and a set of scrutiny questions to ensure a hierarchy of the applicants.

In addition to the application form, a parent or legal guardian's consent is required if the pupil is a minor, through which he agrees to the student's participation in practical training and, as the case may be, to travel or travel expenses (in depending on the characteristics of the project), as well as an agreement on the use of personal data.

If the project involves granting a grant, it is necessary to draw up a procedure for granting it. Student selection - as well as the grant award procedure - must be correct, transparent, coherent and documented, and the documents must be made available to all parties involved in the selection process.
